Professional Highlights
After receiving a bachelor's degree from Grinnell College and working in Washington for several years, I received my formal photography training at the highly regarded Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and at the renowned Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York.
Upon returning to Washington, I served for two years as the staff photographer at the Washington City Paper. During this time, I also launched my freelance career. I am proud to say that many of my original clients are still using my services today.
During the past 20 years, I have provided photographic services to more than 100 organizations based in the Washington area and in other locations across the nation. My long-term clients include:
- Professional and trade organizations, such as the American College of Psychiatrists, the National Association of Home Builders, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
- Not-for-profit service organizations, such as the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Job Corps, and the USDA Graduate School.
- Public Relations Firms, such as Clear Seas Communications, and PR Solutions.
- Corporations and commercial companies, such as Xerox and Shire Labs, Inc.
